About Dr. Newberger

 
Dr. Ken Newberger Dr. Ken Newberger is a conflict resolution practitioner.  He holds a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  As architect of the "Reconciliation Model of Peacemaking," his expertise is promoting healthy and harmonious relationships.  He has worked with people from all walks of life and in all kinds of settings, from pre-marital sweethearts, married couples in every age bracket, and extended families, to workplace staff, business partners, and organizations with large multi-party conflict.
Dr. Newberger is author of the book, "Hope in the Face of Conflict."  He has taught masters level students at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, in its Department of Peace and Conflict Studies.  He is an Approved Educational Provider for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).  He is also a Certified Facilitator and Seminar Director with Life Innovations, Inc.  That is, he is both qualified to administer the Prepare/Enrich Couples Assessment Tool as well as train other professionals in its use.  Dr. Newberger has written dozens of articles for a variety of publications and has been interviewed more than 20 times on radio and television.
Earlier in his career, Ken served as senior pastor to congregations outside of Washington, D.C. and New York City.  He earned his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary after leaving law school for the ministry.  Although he personally subscribes to a Judeo-Christian worldview he welcomes and works with people from all walks of life.  Click here to read more about his background.
