1.  National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists.  Click here.  "The Registry seeks therapists who see themselves as supporting couples’ original commitment to their marriage unless there is a compelling reason not to."
2.  ICEEFT.  Click here.  This is the "International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy."  Search the State to get the widest reading.
3.  AAMFT.  Click here.  This is the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists.
4.  Psychology Today.  Click here.  This is the largest directory in the U.S.  To find a marriage-friendly counselor, you must use their filters to narrow your search.  Search by city.  Then...
(a)  Near the top of the page, look for the bubble that reads, "Issues." In the bottom left-hand corner of the box, click "Show More Issues."  Click "Marriage Counseling."
(b)  Near the top of the page, look for the bubble that reads, "Types of Therapy."  In the bottom left-hand corner of the box, click "Show More Types of Therapy."  Helpful selections include: "Attachment-based," "Couples Counseling, "Emotionally Focused," and "Gottman Method."
For Any Site you Search:  (a) Read about the therapists.  (b) View their websites.  (c) Select those that seems to be the best fit for you.  (d) Call their office to find out more.  (e) Ask the questions below.

(3)  Is helping couples reconcile a central focus of what you do?
