Greetings!  My name is Dr. Ken Newberger. I hold a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution from Nova Southeastern University (FL) and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary (TX). The establishment of Leesburg in the mid-1700s marked the beginning of Christianity in this area. The two historic congregations of Leesburg Presbyterian Church (1804) and St. James’ Episcopal Church (1842) continue to exist as physical evidence of how faith influenced the daily routines of the community.
